U.S. Supreme Court: Suzanne Hollander on Site. Suzanne Professor Real Estate® visited as the Leadership Speaker at the Hispanic National Bar Foundation Law Week. Click photo to watch video & read below to learn what the Supreme Court’s words “Equal Justice Under Law†mean to you, someone who owns property, works or lives in the United States.
Carved into the Supreme Court’s marble entrance are 4 words, “Equal Justice Under Law.†These words face the United States Capitol and everyone who looks at the Court.
While teaching in Washington, D.C., I learned these 4 words are carved in everyone’s heart, including the 40 bright students who earned a spot in this national leadership law week, the Supreme Court Justice clerks we met, the distinguished industry leaders from companies such as Wal-Mart, General Motors who funded and participated in the program and local leaders –judges and lawyers from around the U.S.
The words are powerful to everyone because they are carved outside-in-the-open on the U.S. Supreme Court giving everyone confidence that the United States Supreme Court – the Nation’s highest court – is guided to ensure law is applied to everyone equally – no matter where you are from, if you are rich or poor, male or female or if you live in one state or another.
The Supreme Court works to remain true to these 4 words for over 250 years creating solid confidence in the fair and just application of law to everyone  – this type of confidence in the rule of law encouraged and continues to encourage people to buy U.S. Property and move to the United States.

Since its establishment in 1985, The Hispanic National Bar Foundation (HNBF) has been led by dedicated Hispanic attorneys who overcame the odds to become successful attorneys and community role-models. Over the years, the HNBF has grown into a national organization providing programs, scholarships, fellowships. conferences, and other resources and tools to support and inspire educational achievement within our communities.
